This year OES welcomes back Argentinian violinist Tomás Cotik our the featured guest performer. With OES Assistant Concertmaster Viet Block and Principal Cellist Zach Banks, Cotik will perform a selection of duos and trio by Borodin, Glière, Bartók and Albéniz. Also while in Pendleton, Cotik will present a masterclass to local string students and a lecture in collaboration with Blue Mountain Community College's Arts & Cultural Series.Additional featured performances at the Chamber Music Festival include Shostakovich's Trio No. 2 Op. 67 presented by Concertmaster Lisa Robertson, cellist Ed Dixon and pianist Dr. James Cook, and a selection of Baroque and Renaissance vocal music directed by OES Chorale Rehearsal Conductor Carly Elder.
