ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Internationally acclaimed pianist Zhu Wang takes audiences on a spellbinding journey spanning centuries of musical genius. The evening begins with Mozart's effervescent Rondo in D Major, followed by the poetic introspection of Schubert's Four Impromptus. Grieg's vivacious "From the Carnival" evokes peasant dances full of rustic charm. After intermission, Debussy's shimmering La plus que lente casts an impressionistic spell. The program culminates with Brahms' monumental Handel Variations, a breathtaking tour-de-force of contrapuntal mastery. Wang's virtuosic pianism and profound musicality make this a night to remember.
