Join the Witches of West Michigan and Angie Fox of Heart Center Holistic Therapies for April's educational event, Chakradance.Chakradance is a dynamic wellness practice that uses music specifically created to resonate within our chakras, helping to more easily open and move the energy within them. There are no set steps to this moving meditation- we are asked to let the music move our bodies allowing them to unwind and release anything no longer serving our highest good. This is a free-form dance meaning each person can move their bodies in whatever way they choose- there is no wrong way to move! Afterward, we will create mandala art to help us keep the experience with us long after we have left the space.In this class, we will be dancing the Manipura Chakra, weaving a spell to burn away the things no longer serving us such as judgments, criticisms, and self-doubt. We will call back our own personal power and practice building appropriate boundaries for ourselves.What to expect:
Past participants have said that Chakradance is a little like going into a trance or a waking dream. It allows us to take ourselves outside of our normal realm of awareness and focus intently on our own bodies and the experiences within them.Wear comfortable clothes to move in.
Bring water, yoga mat and journal (optional).
