Have you ever wondered what the Chakras actually are or how they work? Have you ever sensed or been curious about the energy seats within yourself and how to work with them? If so, this is the workshop for you. We will have the opportunity to learn from a detailed slideshow, practice targeted yoga postures to enliven each chakra, and gain tools to develop a personal practice. Additionally, we will experience a guided chakra meditation to deepen our connection with these energy centers. Please bring a notebook or journal, your mat, and a drink. We will also take breaks to refresh ourselves during the class.This workshop includes several key components. The educational session will provide a detailed exploration of the seven main chakras, offering an understanding of their physical, emotional, and energetic aspects. Through carefully curated slides and interactive discussions, we will explore how these energy centers influence daily life and overall well-being.
The practical movement session will focus on targeted yoga postures for each chakra, emphasizing proper alignment and energetic awareness. Modifications will be available for all experience levels to ensure accessibility and comfort. The meditation experience will guide participants through techniques for sensing and working with subtle energy, grounding, and energy circulation, offering tools for emotional and energetic balance.
To support personal practice development, we will incorporate journaling exercises for self-reflection and provide take-home techniques for continued practice. Safety and comfort are a priority—pauses will be provided, all exercises can be modified, and participants are encouraged to honor their bodies and stay hydrated throughout the session. Questions are always welcome.
For this workshop, please bring a yoga mat, a journal or notebook, water or your preferred beverage, and comfortable clothing suitable for movement. If desired, a cushion or blanket for meditation can also be brought.
By the end of the workshop, participants can expect to gain a deeper understanding of the chakra system and its relevance to daily life, practical tools for working with energy centers, physical postures to support chakra awareness, and meditation techniques for ongoing practice. We will conclude with a circle time, fostering community connection and shared learning experiences.
