Each month, we will focus on a different chakra, guiding you through a 1.5-hour session that includes:

What is a Sound bath ?
A Soundbath is a therapeutic experience where you're immersed in a symphony of soothing sounds and vibrations, typically created using instruments like singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and drums. These sounds are designed to promote deep relaxation, balance your energy, and help you release stress and tension.
During a Soundbath, you lie down comfortably with your eyes closed while the sound waves wash over you, allowing the vibrations to penetrate your body and mind. The frequencies can help to recalibrate your energetic field, clear blockages, and bring a sense of harmony to your whole being. Many people report feeling deeply relaxed, grounded, and even emotionally released after the experience.
It’s not just about listening to sound; it’s about feeling the vibrations move through your body, leading to a meditative state that can help promote healing, clarity, and inner peace. Think of it as a gentle, restorative journey for the soul, where sound becomes the tool for energetic cleansing and rejuvenation.
WHAT TO BRING
Please bring your own mats, and then whatever you need to make a cosy bed for yourself. Some people bring a yoga mat, thin mattress, sleeping bag to lie on then you need a top layer such as a quilt or blankets. You need a pillow, eye mask if preferred, and wear loose warm clothing. Some people bring crystals to place upon themselves. Some bring special items such as pictures, jewelery, for cleansing in the sound vibrations.
You should get your fluids up the day before and bring your own water at your side. You need a good glass of water following the sound bath.
Event ends with free herbal teas and biscuit. Please bring your own cup if you wish to partake or I will have disposables,
Cancellation policy
The £15.50 includes session ticket fee and the booking fee that Eventbrite charge for their services.
Please note Eventbrite’s fees are non-refundable, so they won't be returned to the ticket buyer unless the event is cancelled, or if the buyer requests a refund for a duplicate charge within 7 days of purchase.
My Ticket prices - are not refundable if you cancel within 24 hours of the event . However it can be transferred to another for the same event. I will do my very best to try and sell the ticket in your absence and only if I receive a payment will I be able to refund your full amount (less Eventbrite fee).
Contraindications
If you are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, had a recent operation, metal implants, recent stroke or have any medical complaint or any mental health diagnosis such as PTSD , that you may feel I need to consider please let me know so I can assess your needs or suitability for a soundbath or if in any doubt then please seek advice from your GP before booking.
About Speedwell
Angela runs Speedwell Sound Therapy and is a qualified Psychotherapist , Reiki Master and holds a higher-level diploma with training providers British Academy of Sound Therapy, which allows her to facilitate group sound therapy and sound and movement therapy sessions, which merge a reflective process with sound, allowing the participant to connect with elements that cause an imbalance in their systems.
