About this Event
If you or your child suffer from asthma or anxiety or both, then this is the class for you. We will guide you through a series of breathing exercises with the new interactive Dragon Breath of Fresh Air-a breathing mastery training program,that can help you gain better understanding of how to keep your breathing relaxed, even under pressure, to improve your breathing health.
In Chakra Breathe and Dance we will guide you through slowing your breathing down and dancing and breathing through a rainbow of chakras to enable you to experience deeper relaxation in your body and greater freedom and joy in your movement.
You will discover how to unleash your inner dragon to find the power to breathe more easily and release tension and stress. Find out how to stop running from your anxiety monster and connect to your heart. You will be guided to find the stillness at the end of the outbreath to enable your nervous system to relax, and we will breathe and dance through each chakra, enabling you and your child to connect with your body and breath in this one off movement and breath dance class.
Alison Waring and Eliza Bouwens invite you to join them for the first ever Chakra Breathe and Dance. Alison is an osteopath, yoga teacher and been teaching the Buteyko Method of breathing to adults and children to help reduce asthma and anxiety for the last 11 years. She is joined by Eliza Bouwens 5Rhythms Dance and Rainbow Yoga teacher. Both have experienced the stress that goes with asthma and not being able to catch your breath. Together they will weave their magic to show you how to breathe with ease, and find your flow with your breath and your body.
Parent and Child Tickets are £20 and are open for those 8+. If you don't have a child you can bring your inner child or a friend to learn some fun ways to improve your breathing and energise your body. Family Tickets are £25 for Two adults and two children.

Wear comfortable clothes that you can easily move and dance in and breathe with your tummy and a water bottle. We will dance barefoot, but you can bring trainers or dance shoes.
Doors open at 10.15 for a 10.30 start and finishes at 12.30 with time for questions at the end until 12.45.
