Chaka Demus & Pliers are Jamaicans duo active together since 1992: one of the most successful acts in Jamaican music; the first Jamaican act to place three consecutive singles in the top five of the British music charts. Both Chaka Demus and Pliers had established successful solo careers prior to combining their efforts. They are best known for their hits "M**der She Wrote" "Bam bam" and "Tease Me". They had more commercial success with mainstream pop fans after their collaboration in the early 90s than either ever had in their solo careers.
Big Mountain is an American band known for its remake of Peter Frampton's "Baby, I Love Your Way", which became a top 10 hit single in the US in early 1994, reaching No. 6 on the US Billboard Hot 100, No. 1 on the Mainstream Top 40 and No. 2 in the UK.
