Standing around Continental Square on New Year’s Eve…Nah dawg. How about LOUNGING around while all the festivities happen around you. That’s what I’m talking about.
Hi, my name is Matthew, the other half of York City Special Events. Join me in the square with your best VIP setup. We’re talking high back chairs, carpets, propane fire pits, end tables, tea service….whatever you got to up your evening game.
That said…here are a few guidelines you gotta follow as we try and make this a new tradition:
• No outside alcohol
• Food and everything else is fine
• Try to avoid breakables (it’s still a road)
• Load in after 8pm and load out by 1am
• Don’t be a turd
• Consider if it’s windy
• Consider if it’s raining (I’ll be there with a tent)
• You will have to walk your stuff maybe half a block
