CHAIROGRAPHY WORKSHOP

CHAIROGRAPHY is BACK!!!

Chairography is a dance class that is centered around dancing with a chair. We will be on, around, behind, or even next to a chair. Sometimes we will be on the floor next to the chair. There will be fierceness, sass, sensuality and definitely a lot of DRAMA. I will be teaching at a beginner's pace, but know that you will still be challenged. There is floor work and felxibilty could help. But we will do our best to accomodate your needs. The important part is feeling yourself and performing for your LIFE.

We've turned CHAIROGRAPHY into a 3 Day workshop. Instead of craming in a million things in one session, we now have time to learn choreography and proper execution of the movement. We will now have time to let the choreography live in our bodies so we can fully express and perform when it comes to filming. The workshop will culminate into a Media Day. Media Day is an hour of shooting some head shots and filming in a Rain Room.

What Will We Be Doing For 3 Days?

3 Days sounds like it's a lot, but it just the right amount of time! See the itinerary below for a more detailed look at our time together.

Day 1 - 11/06/2025 - 7:30pm

• Arrivals and quick introduction
• Full body, follow along warm up
• Barre warm up with chairs
• Learn CHAIROGRAPHY piece

Day 2 - 11/07/2025 - 7:30pm

• Arrivals and quick introduction
• Full body, follow along warm up
• Barre warm up with chairs
• Revisit CHAIROGRAPHY piece, clean and master it
• Perform in small groups and solos for the brave ones

Day 3 (Media Day) - 11/09/2025 - 1 hour between 9:00am to 5:00pm

• Arrive 30 to 40 minutes before your scheduled time
• 25 minutes of photo shoots with a professional photographer
• 15 minutes to acclimate and feel the rain room space, aka time to get wet
• 20 minutes of filming with a professional videographer. You will be full out for 20 minutes so you can have as many takes as you can get.
• Once finished, take your time calming down, bring a robe, towels, change of clothing. Then enjoy the rest of your Sunday
