Training Objective: To equip yoga teachers with the knowledge and tools to effectively teach chair yoga, focusing on adapting traditional yoga poses for individuals with limited mobility, seniors, or office settings. This workshop balances theory, practice, and interaction to make the training engaging and comprehensive.

1. Welcome and Introduction
2. Foundations of Chair Yoga
• What is Chair Yoga?
o Definition and principles.
o Understanding the target audience and their needs.
• Overview of chair yoga benefits:
o Accessibility and inclusivity.
o Physical and mental health benefits (e.g., mobility, stress relief).
o Applications in various settings: senior centers, workplaces, or rehabilitation.
• Safety Considerations:
o Assessing mobility levels and contraindications.
o Supporting proper alignment in seated and standing poses.
3. Chair Yoga Poses with Instructions
• Warm-up/Cool-down Poses
• Active Poses
o Seated Poses
o Standing Poses (using the chair for support)
• Relaxation Poses
