Join the City of Winter Haven and Polk County for the official Grand Opening of the newly revitalized Chain of Lakes Park! This long-anticipated celebration marks a major milestone in the continued enhancement of one of Winter Haven’s most iconic recreation destinations.
The ceremony will begin at 3:30 PM with remarks from city and county officials, community leaders, and members of the project team who brought this vision to life. Guests will hear reflections on the rich baseball history of Winter Haven, the transformative impact of the entire Chain of Lakes site, and the continued collaboration between city and county partners to create an accessible, world-class destination for residents and visitors alike.
Following brief remarks, dignitaries and project partners will participate in an official ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the reopening.
Afterward, guests are invited to enjoy an open house of the park from 3:50–4:30 PM, featuring guided walkthroughs, refreshments, and an opportunity to explore the new amenities firsthand.
