Get ready for a night of laughs at Chai Hard: A Desi Standup Comedy Show! Every month, we host killer lineups featuring some of the funniest Millennial and Gen Z Desi-American comedians in the Bay Area.
This month, we'll be bringing back crowd favorite Abby Govindan! Abby is a 27-year-old NYC-based comedian and social media sensation. Abby has recently been featured in profiles in Vogue and Paste Magazine.
100% of profits from Chai Hard are donated to the charity Pratham, supporting education efforts in India.
About Chai Hard
Chai Hard is produced by two Desi South Bay natives. Our goal is to introduce South Asian audiences to some of the best, young, up-and-coming Desi comedians — all for just $12!
About Pratham
100% of the profits from the show will be donated to Pratham USA.
Pratham USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports Pratham, one of the largest and most successful education-focused NGOs in India.
Pratham's mission is "Every Child in School and Learning Well," focusing on providing quality education to underprivileged children in India.
The organization has received a four-star rating (the highest possible) from Charity Navigator, ranking among the top 3% of all nonprofits in the country. The organization has received numerous international accolades, including the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship, the WISE Prize for Education, and the LUI Che Woo Prize.
