Known to many of us as former ALL singer and Drag the River collaborator, Chad is bringing his newest project to Vancouver.Chad Price Peace Coalition is an emotional and somber yet powerful alternative rock band. Born in Bloomington Indiana but fully realized after joining forces with some Portlanders, the band delivers a fascinating alternative rock, emo, folk-prog hybrid.
Vancouver's own SLIP~ons have been described as "the punk rock version of Kings of Leon". While maybe having more in common with 90's alt-rock a la Sugar/Bob Mould, or even Hüsker Dü, the band is happy to support Chad and test out some new songs from their forthcoming second EP.
Uptights are a power pop project featuring prolific Vancouver producer Jesse Gander. As if making Juno Award winning records wasn't enough, Jesse has also played in a number of awesome bands, and has known Chad since d.b.s. opened for ALL on the "Pummel" tour circa 1995.
dannyboy, aka Dan Garrison of The Corps, will kick off the evening with an acoustic set. Dan and his team have been tearing up stages across Western Canada this past month, and it'll be a rare treat to catch him delivering his witty and heartfelt tunes solo.
