If there was a true authentic spirit to cross the threshold of Country Music with Christian standards, it would be Chad Bushnell.
Chad has opened for country legends such as Kris Kristofferson, Dwight Yoakam, Scotty McCreery, Lee Brice, Neal McCoy, Billy Currington, Mark Wills, Collin Raye and many others over the years. He's had Three #1 Christian Country songs that followed the premiere of his first documentary on KIXE PBS titled “North State Roots”. His new record “Whiskey to Work” was recently released featuring songs written by Chad himself, songs co-written with some of his favorite songwriters and even a few written by hit songwriters out of Nashville, TN.
Chad has participated in a number of contests such as American Country Star in Nashville, TN. where he became a top 3 finalist and won the Horizon award for 2014. He won Contemporary Country Vocalist of the Year at the Josie Music Awards for 2020 in Pigeon Forge, TN. He was the "1st" place winner of the Inspirational Country Showdown in "Yuba City, CA” for 2018 and won New Artist of the Year for Inspirational Country Music Association in 2019.
Chad is honored to have Ben Haggard (son of the legendary Merle Haggard) join him as his special guests this year along with Texas country singer Olivia Harms.
