On May 24th 2024, our beloved friend, musician, and all around good guy Chad Andres suffered a hemiplegic stroke, affecting his left side; he was in good health and there were no warning signs prior to this event. Thankfully his roommate was trained as a CNA and recognized his symptoms! He was rushed to St. Joseph's in Tacoma for the first critical weeks, then transferred to Lacey Post Acute as he recovers; although his care has been exceptional, because of insurance limitations, he needs much more Physical Therapy to fully regain strength and mobility in his left leg and arm. A $5 suggested donation includes a jam by some of Olympia’ finest musicians and a silent auction.
