Join us for a fabulous Queer Movie Marathon at BAAD!–The Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance. We'll be screening the 2024 film Chabuca (R).
Chabuca is a biopic that immerses us in the life of Peruvian host Ernesto Pimentel. A man who defied social conventions to become an icon of Peruvian television with his character of "La Chola Chabuca".
As part of BAAD!'s annual Get Tough! Get BAAD! Series, Queer Movie Nights are all about celebrating the resilience of the LGBTQ+ community through the magic of queer cinema.
Join us for this special evening of queer storytelling and community unity. Grab some refreshments at our bar, help yourself to complimentary popcorn and make some new friends as you mix and mingle with our BAAD!Ass queer community and allies!
