An opportunity provided by CITC Prevention staff to participate in cultural crafts and accrue knowledge surrounding cultural practices.This is open to CITC staff members and youth ages 10 - 24 and their families.
Purpose of this opportunity : To teach both CITC colleagues and participants skills in sewing, beading, and other various methods of cultural crafting.
At CITC, we are dedicated to fostering cultural wellness and connection by providing opportunities for participants and staff to engage in Indigenous cultural crafts and knowledge exchange. Through regular workshops, cultural events, and community engagement, we aim to honor and celebrate Indigenous traditions while promoting understanding and respect. The aim of this reoccurring opportunity is to create a supportive environment where all can learn, grow, and thrive together on a foundation of shared cultural heritage and mutual respect.
These gatherings will be held at our Family Wellness Center, located down the street from the main CITC building at 713 Northway Drive.
