About this Event
It is often said that "all politics is local," highlighting the significant impact that local offices have on our daily lives. Among the most local and relevant races are those for the school board, which directly affect our communities and children.
However, local races can be challenging to research due to their low-profile nature, limited media coverage, and the minimal campaign funds invested by candidates.
To help you make an informed decision, the North Dallas Branch of AAUW is once again collaborating with the CFBISD Council PTA to host a candidates’ forum for the upcoming school board elections. This event provides a valuable opportunity to hear directly from the candidates and to submit your own questions for them.
The forum will be held on Tuesday, April 15, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Nancy Watten Technology and Event Center, located at 455 E La Villita Blvd, Irving.
Early voting runs from April 22-29, with Election Day on Saturday, May 3. Be sure to vote and take this opportunity to stay well-informed about your choices.
