A unique showcase of Scottish music will tour Northern Europe in November and early December 2024.Featuring two of Scotland's most talented groups, it will offer audiences the opportunity to get to know Scottish music and culture better.
For the first time, FARA and The Langan Band will be touring Northern Europe together and will delight audiences with their energetic performances and breathtaking harmonies:
FARA - Kristan Harvey, Jeana Leslie and Catriona Price (all fiddle & vocals) accompanied by Rory Matheson (piano) - are winners of the German Record Critics' Award 2019 and are known for their unique fiddle style, as well as their rousing melodies and sophisticated vocal arrangements. With their current album "Energy Islands" they tell the story of their homeland Orkney and dedicate themselves to a very current topic: their island's contribution to the generation of renewable energy.

The Langan Band has conquered the world stage since the release of their highly acclaimed album "Plight O' Sheep" in 2021.
With a virtuoso mix of violin, double bass, guitar and foot percussion, the trio around John Langan delights audiences with fast-paced melodies and gentle harmonies. Inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of the Outer Hebrides, they celebrate traditional and contemporary Scottish music, virtuosic, sensual and rousing.
