CETL Course

NCDPI is partnering with the NC COSN to provide a 2-day immersion course to prepare for the Certified Education Technology Leaders Exam.

The course prepares participants to take the certification exam. Thanks to funding from the NC Digital Learning Initiative, NCDPI can offer this course free of charge for the 2024-2025 school year. Normally, this course costs $849 per person.

For this school year, up to 40 new participants can be accepted. To participate, individuals must register for and pay separately for the exam at the NCTIES Conference. Exam fees are as follows:

• CoSN Member exam fee: $489 (All PSUs in North Carolina have CoSN Membership access)
• Member exam retake fee: $339

To qualify for this course:

• Applicants must have at least three years of experience in K-12 educational technology leadership.
• Registration is first-come, first-served, limited to 40 participants.
• Only one spot is available per district.
• It is recommended that first-year technology directors participate in the CTO Clinic before taking this course and the CETL exam.
