Our next artist, coming all the way from Bristol, is none other than CESCO
If you're not yet familiar with the name Cesco, you'll definitely be familiar with his sound. With releases on 1985 Music, Pineapple Records and Unchained Recordings, Cesco has repeatedly showcased his versatility over a range of genres including drum n bass, dubstep, garage, halftime, and everything in between. In everything he has touched you can hear his uniquely minimalist approach, with skull-crushing drums and calculatedly cold wobbles cutting through the empty space. We are delighted to welcome him to Valhalla for an extremely intimate show for an artist of this calibre.
On support we have an all-star cast of some of Aotearoa's finest. Joining us for the first time we have Tamaki's REASXN, a seasoned producer who cut his teeth making drum n bass, and more recently has turned to garage, with releases on some solid labels such as Outhouse Sounds, Konkrete Jungle and Redline Records. On closing duties we have our good friend HOUND, one of the country's finest rising stars both on and off the decks, master of dubstep, drum n bass and all things in between. Opening things up we have Poneke's very own POTHOS, another talented selector with a penchant for deep bass, techy drums and cascading rhythms.
The night will be hosted by our very own YOUNG GHO$T, and powered by our friends TUB'S AUDIO, to give you that dose of rumble that you really need. We will also have lasers, courtesy of LIGHTCRAFT.
