Lillstreet Digital Art Artist-in-Residence, Cesca Carletto-Leon, presents I can’t sit still but I’m trying, April 12 – May 3 in Lillstreet’s second floor Annex Gallery.
We as people are collages of our lived experiences. We learn from one another, we are uplifted by our communities, and we grow. “I can’t sit still but I’m trying” is a collage of autobiographical and memoir-style pieces that stitch together textiles, electronics, video footage, and digital interfaces. These multimedia “quilts” explore the beautiful but messy connections between our mind and our bodies, our bodies and our world, our world and our hearts.
