Cervical Screening Sample Taker: Triannual Update – face-to-face attendance
Location: Castle Hill Community Centre, Highfield Road, Ipswich, IP1 6DG.
Time: 09:30 – 12:30
This course is aimed at all primary care sample takers on the Cervical Sample Taker Database (CSTD) and are due a triannual update.
It will cover:
• The NHS Cervical Screening Programme
• Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)
• Changes in guidance & developments
• Anatomy and Physiology
• Prevalence mortality & uptake
• Barriers to screening
• Call/recall & ceasing
• Local & national incidents
• Tips, tricks and gold standards of practice
Education Pathway (2023)
Once your ticket is secured via Eventbrite you will receive a booking form for prompt completion, without this we cannot accept your place on the update, as these assess your eligibility to undertake the update.
Please check your e-mails, in the address you registered with, within 5 days of submitting your booking.
Please also note if you arrive early, you will be asked to wait until the start time of the course. If you are more than 10 mins late without calling beforehand then you will be asked to rebook.
