If you have been interested in becoming a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI), this workshop is for you. The process to become one usually takes over a year, but we are expediting the process hands-on.Spend your three-day Labor Day weekend with us for a three-day intensive training led by our founder Patty D’Andrea, Advanced-Level CTRI, & resident instructor Katie Mikulcik, CTRI. This workshop will equip aspiring instructors with the skills to teach riding & horsemanship skills to individuals with physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges.
Participants will learn how to do rider assessments, lesson planning, adaptive teaching strategies, and safe mounting & dismounting techniques. The training also includes a review of PATH Intl. application requirements & video analysis.
