---Prepare for the April 4, 2025 Exam---

The course consists of self-study, online teaching, and quizzes, followed by in-person preparation April 2-3, 2025.

Extension Agent Instructors Danny and Cyndi Lauderdale, Matt Jones, Sam Marshall, Colby Griffin, and Allen West have over 85 years of combined ornamental horticulture experience.

Course Schedule Highlights:

• Obtain the NCNLA CPP Study Manual (purchase through NCNLA) and plant list by early January. Shipping of the manual typically takes 2 weeks.
• Complete NCNLA CPP prerequisites and Exam registration by March 14, 2025.
• Complete course registration by January 10. Coursework will begin with required 2-hour Zoom meetings at 10 am on January 28, followed by 2-hour Zoom classes on February 4, 11, 18, 25, March 4, 11, 18, and 25 starting at 10 am each day (instructors have the right to change dates/times but try not to).
• Complete self-study on your own as directed by the syllabus and pass course quizzes and tests by March 25.

-Participate in the in-person course from April 2-3 in Wilson, NC if qualified.

Course Requirements and Format: (Pay close attention to dates!)

1. Complete course registration by January 10 and make a payment of $150/person.

2. Self-study by following the course study syllabus and participate in weekly Zoom meetings/quizzes.

3. Complete the course quizzes by scoring 70%.

4. Submit a list of topics and plants you need the most in-person help with by March 25.

5. Register for the April 4 CPP Exam with NCNLA by March 14. (www.ncnla.com) Exam registration is NOT included in the course fee.

6. Once steps 1-5 are completed, you will be qualified to participate in the 2-day in-person course to be held on April 2-3 from 9 am to 4 pm daily in Wilson, NC (no additional cost).
