Certified Peer Support Professional Training

DMHA is providing an in-person, 40-hour Certified Peer Support Professional. This in-person training will be held at Ivy Tech Sellersburg 8204 County Road 311 Sellersburg, IN 47172. Whether you're looking to start a career in peer support or enhance your skills, this training is perfect for you. Learn from experienced professionals and gain the knowledge and tools needed to support others effectively.

This 40-hour training will be Monday, February 2nd - Wednesday, February 4th AND Monday, February 9th - Friday, February 11, 2026 in Room Ogle 218. This training runs from 8:00am-3:00pm each day. ALL days must be attended to be eligible for the examination. Lunch is on your own.

To qualify for the training individuals must

• Be 18 years of age or older

• Have personal lived experience of recovery from a mental health condition, substance use or problem gambling and/or

• Have personal lived experience assisting a family member with a mental health condition, substance use or problem gambling

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent*

• Must live or work in Indiana at least 51% of the time
