Join us for this Certified Lay Minister course on September 13, 9:00am-4:00pm CDT at Christ Church GMC. This course teaches churches how to minister to others, serve people in life events, and how to celebrate recovery of life's hurts, habits, and hangups. The course is based on the book by the same name, The Recovery-Minded Church: Loving and Ministering to People With Addiction by Jonathan Benz and Khristina Robb-Dover (available from Amazon).CLM Course Credits: The Certified Lay Minister status is a lay status given to the individuals that feel the calling to serve in the local church and beyond though not in a clergy status. The Recovery Minded Church course will be considered a “specialized” course for the Certified Lay Minister certification. You can learn more about the Certified Lay Minister program here.

Registration: $30.00 which includes the cost of lunch. If special dietary needs, please bring food that is suitable. You can complete registration online. Walk-ins are also welcome!
