Class is 8AM - 4PM on Tuesday, January 14. Located in the Rambler Room at McMenamins Old St. Francis School, 700 NW Bond Street in Bend.

This course focuses on the basic principles of landscape irrigation to prepare you for the Irrigation Association's CIT Exam. The course covers how to cut and join pipe, know the limitations of different piping systems and understand basic hydraulics. Learn how to lay out and install piping and water delivery components; backflow prevention components; mechanical, hydraulic and electrical irrigation controls; and other irrigation system components. Develop skills to troubleshoot and repair irrigation components and systems.

Note: the class alone does not complete certification. Register for the paper-and-pencil exam at Irrigation Association. Exam fee is $175 (IA Member), $300 (Nonmember.)
