Who is this course for?
The course is designed specifically for experienced trade union representatives/shop stewards.
What are the entry requirements?
Applicants must have previously completed the TUC union representatives Stage 1, Certificate in Employment Law /or H & S TUC Diploma in Employment Law
You must be able to complete the research tasks and attend the afternoon sessions to successfully complete this qualification.
How long is the course?
This course will be delivered over 10 weeks online
What will the course help me to do?
Picking up from your last Employment Law course course, this CPD course will examine any recent changes or trends in the management of employee rights, terms and conditions in the workplace. We will share ideas and best practice around representing members up and share organising and campaign strategies of the unions.
How much is the course?
There are no course fees for union reps from TUC affiliated unions.
PLEASE NOTE: This course is for residents of England only. This course will be delivered by Newcastle College. Please be aware that funding restrictions in some areas may mean that a college cannot accept your application: if this is the case you will be notified which college to reapply to.
