This intensive Certificate III qualification is designed for adventure seekers ready to become professional outdoor leaders specialising in:
🧗♂️ Abseiling & Top Rope Climbing
🏔️ Canyoning (Easy to Intermediate)
⛰️ Vertical Rescue Operations
What You'll Master:
- Single-pitch abseiling on natural surfaces
- Top rope climbing leadership
- Canyon traversing and water rescues
- Risk assessment and safety protocols
- Equipment maintenance and setup
- Emergency response procedures
Prerequisites: This is NOT an entry-level course. You need either previous Outdoor Leadership qualifications OR demonstrated industry/life experience.
As prior qualifications are required for this course it is anticipated that the core units will be achieved either by Credit Transfer or RPL If core units gap training is required to be completed, this will be conducted online via self-directed learning.
Physical Requirements: Be prepared for rugged terrain, carrying 25kg backpacks, camping outdoors, and working in challenging weather conditions. Successful participants will need physical capacity and personal skills to work in small groups.

Approximate fees: $1,200 (non-Centrelink) / $250 (Centrelink recipients)
Credit transfer available for previous qualifications
