Join us for an afternoon of creating your own ceramic piece! We’ll be using the hand-building technique of 'pinching'.
Hollie Cooper Ceramics will be hosting a workshop within Whitworth Locke. Fancy having a go at making your own pottery? Whether you’re a first timer or a hobby potter, join along in this class where we’ll be creating our own little ceramic pots using the pinching method.We’ll be settling in the co-working space where there’s the coffee bar and a comfy, chilled atmosphere. Bring your besties along or meet new people if you’re travelling alone or just looking for new things to do in the City! All materials will be provided, you will be given air-dry clay to either take home the same day - or if you’re really loving your final outcome, you will have the opportunity to opt for it to be kiln fired in your choice of glaze and then posted out to you (an additional discounted fee of £10). The firing would allow the piece to be watertight and food-safe!
