About this Event
You will learn how to centre the clay on the wheel and to pull a pot shape, you can choose up to two of your pieces to be bisque fired, which you might want to glaze at one of our Glaze Workshops or Open Access Sessions
You will find as a beginner that your pots may be very wobbly and often collapse on the wheel, this is normal to begin with but does add to the fun of learning.
Pre-requirements: You do not need any previous experience to attend this class. Age 16+
Session size: 6 participants and 1 tutor
This class caters for complete beginners to both ceramics and to wheel throwing.
Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty, remove jewellery and wear sensible footwear.
We have aprons available for use during your session if required
The ceramics studio is situated upstairs, if you have mobility issues please contact us beforehand.
