About this Event
For Ages 8 to 11 – Wish you could pet a tiger? Hop with a bunny? Swim with a dolphin? Explore the wonderful world of animals using clay to create amazing creatures and their habitats! Drawing inspiration from artists such as Pablo Picasso, Louise Nevelson, and Alexander Calder, students will create sculptural works of animals and their diverse environments. Then experience the magic of glazing with underglazes and engobes, and the wonder of your creations once they come out of the kilns! All supplies and kiln firings are provided and included in the price of the class. Please note that pick up of ceramic pieces will take place at the end of the summer session due to the busy summer session.
