Create your very own sun plate in celebration of the summer solstice in the chic setting of Hotel Figueroa! Tickets inculde discounted valet parking, a complimentery mimosa, and all the materials and instruction to create your own ceramic pottery piece. After class, enjoy 15% off at Café Fig for a delicious brunch, or chill at the stunning bar while soaking up the artistic atmosphere!
Two Faced Ceramics x Hotel Figueroa invite you to get creative in this hands on ceramic pottery class where you will design and execute your very own ceramic sun plate. Students will make their pieces while learning introductory slab-building pottery techniques. No experience necessary for thsi ceramic pottery class, this class is fun for all levels! Get your hands dirty and play with clay - perfect for a Satuday morning with friends or creative date!
Students will have the choice between five glaze finishes for their pieces: matte white, dark aqua, glossy green, periwinkle blue, or cosmic opal.
Pieces will be available for pick up 3 weeks after class at Two Faced Ceramics home studio; shipping options available for an additional fee.
All materials provided, but feel free to bring a sketchbook and inspo ideas! Please wear studio clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Clay is dusty but does not stain clothes. Aprons provided.
