Elevate Your Hosting Game with Custom Ceramics

Impress your guests with a truly custom centerpiece made by you! In this adult-focused workshop, you will master the slab-building method to design and create a one-of-a-kind ceramic cheese tray or charcuterie board.

Whether you prefer a modern, sleek look or a rustic aesthetic, you’ll learn how to add professional, personal touches through shaping, stamping, and texturing. As a special bonus, you will also craft a set of coordinating, reusable clay labels to perfectly identify your favorite cheeses or appetizers.

Workshop Schedule:

Part 1 - The Build: Saturday, February 14th - 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Part 2 - The Glaze: Saturday, March 14th - 1:15 pm - 2:15 pm

How it works: In the first session, you will build and texture your food-safe tray and labels. Once your pieces have been fired in our kiln, you will return on March 14th to learn glaze application techniques. You’ll have the opportunity to choose from a variety of professional glazes to ensure your board is as beautiful as it is functional.

Registration Details:

The price includes both the building and glazing workshops, all clay, tools, and two kiln firings.

Your finished, food-safe set will be ready for pickup shortly after the final firing.

If you are unable to attend the glazing session on March 15, please let us know and we can arrange a different time for you to finish your work.

A Note for Our Makers: While we treat every creation with the utmost professional care, the ceramic process is naturally unpredictable. Due to the high temperatures of kiln firing and the unique nature of clay, pieces can occasionally crack, break, or develop minor defects. While we cannot guarantee a perfect result for every firing, we are committed to your satisfaction. Should your piece experience any issues, we will work with you to find a fair resolution, such as a replacement or a discount.
