Anxiety, stress, and worry are becoming bigger issues in our fast-paced modern lives. We often believe that people and situations we face are the cause of our stress and unhappiness. As a result, we spend a lot of time and energy trying to change them, which can make our mind even busier and more anxious.Buddha taught that all unhappiness, stress and anxiety comes from our mind – from our unrealistic expectations and unhelpful ways of thinking about ourself, the people around us and our world in general.
By learning how to identify the real causes of stress and unhappy thoughts, we can begin to understand how to free ourselves from them. On this course we will explore special ways of thinking and meditating to heal our mind, calm our anxiety and find some inner strength and peace.

About the Teacher
As a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Gen Kelsang Mila is a modern – day Kadampa Nun and the resident teacher of Vajrapani Kadampa Buddhist Centre. She has been a student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for 19 years and ordained for fourteen years. Her teachings are always practical and easy to apply to everyday life.
