About this Event
We are excited to invite you to a networking event for geographic information systems (GIS) and spatial professionals in the Dubbo region.
The Central West Spatial Network is your chance to meet and network with other regional mapping and spatial specialists.
Whether you are working in GIS, remote sensing or spatial analysis, or are simply interested in the industry, this meet-up is a great opportunity to connect, share insights, and discuss the latest trends in spatial technologies.
Join us for an afternoon of networking and collaboration. There will be brief presentations from local experts, followed by casual drinks where you can meet others in the field, exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations.
Who should attend?
This event is open to GIS and spatial professionals of all experience levels, as well as anyone with an interest in geospatial technologies and mapping. There will be a focus on:
- datasets relevant to Dubbo and the Central West
- a map of renewable developments
- recent mapping projects by local council
- tools such as QGIS and PostGIS.
Watch this space as we finalise our speakers and topics!
The Central West Spatial Network is supported by MagicDirt to build stronger connections in the Central West mapping and spatial community. This is a pitch free event!
