About this Event
Join Amplify Credit Union on Thursday, May 23, for the second annual Central Texas Affordability Summit. That’s when leaders from across the region will convene to understand the progress our community is making to address affordability and delve into the housing sector, highlighting promising solutions to expand the supply of housing Central Texans can afford.
The event will include a fireside chat between Austin Mayor Kirk Watson and Amplify CEO Kendall Garrison. In addition, Amplify Chief Experience Officer Stacy Armijo will moderate a panel exploring how Austin’s largest school district plans to use vacant properties for teacher housing; how a tiny home community in Round Rock is now affordable for police officers, firefighters and frontline workers; and whether Austin’s underutilized commercial properties could become much-needed residential inventory.
This conversation is not designed to reiterate that we have an affordability problem in Central Texas, but instead focus on how we can all be part of the solution. Don’t miss out, register today!
Please note that space is limited and attendees are asked to register by Monday, May 20.
