We are revisiting the 9th floor of Central Plaza 2 to complete sketches for the exhibition that will be held in the foyer of the building. This will the final time we visit the building, so if you wish to do exterior views of the precinct, possibly featuring the building, sketch outside. All work for the exhibition now must be completed on the day and with other sketches, left with security. (so bring the ones you have already done) We recommend that you bring some acetate sleeves to protect the work. I will have some A4 ones.
If you want to take any work there earlier, it can be left with the concierge at the front desk.
The exhibition will now be opened on the 15th October for a few weeks. (It was to be early December) The work will be for sale, so email me an image, contact details and a price. It is preferred not to write on the back as the exhibition will be hung on the windows and the sketches will be visible from the back.
CBRE want to promote the exhibition on their social media (and in the lifts) and want good quality scans now. Can these be sent to me [email protected] and I will forward them on.
The throw down will be outside the front entry at 11.30.
This is a great opportunity to promote urban sketching and your own work, so join in.
I have suggested an earlier start to allow more time to sign in.
