Full Description One of the best ways to get to the heart of Central Park is on foot and this professionally guided walking tour offers a complete picture of this iconic New York City landmark. Our guide’s associations with Central Park are extensive and we boast some of the most experienced and knowledgeable Central Park guides you can find. Learn about the cultural influences of the park and feel the peace that comes from strolling through a natural environment. After a few days of visiting New York City, Central Park is a must! Many people are familiar with Central Park, but may not know the most interesting places to explore. With 843 acres, this landscape masterpiece has a lot to offer. Your guide will show you many park locations that feature in popular movies. The Gapstow Bridge, from the Home Alone II movie and the Wollman Rink, from Love Story and Serendipity. Information on surrounding architecture and real estate will also be shared. A stroll along the Mall and Literary Walk to the park center piece, the Bethesda Terrace, get lost in the Ramble, cross the Bow Bridge which is known as “Engagement Bridge” and featured in many movies including Spider Man III. Wandering along the Lake shore we make our way through Strawberry Fields, the peace garden and memorial to John Lennon of the Beatles. Ending at the park entrance across from the Dakota Apartments, food, subways and other points of interest.

This tour ends at Central Park West and West 72nd Street. There is easy access to the B – C – 1 – 2 – 3 trains or your guide will escort you back to the starting location on West 58th Street
