Title: “Demystifying Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM)”
Presenter: Nathan Rollings is Chief Information Security Officer at Zafran.IO. Nathan is an accomplished leader with nearly two decades of experience in leadership and information security. He is currently the Field CISO at Zafran Security, the World's First Risk & Mitigation Platform that defuses threat exploitation by mobilizing existing security tools. Previously, Nathan worked at Elevance Health, a Fortune 20 company, where he led a team of over 30 professionals supporting vulnerability management, cloud security posture management (CSPM), and secure configuration functions.
In addition to his role at Elevance Health, Nathan was heavily involved in the broader cybersecurity community by serving on product advisory boards for notable organizations such as Qualys, Google Cloud and ServiceNow.Nathan's outstanding contributions to the cybersecurity sector have been recognized by CDO Magazine, as he was recently included in the “Under 40 Security Leaders 2023” list.
In addition to his roles in cybersecurity, Nathan is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and Operation Iraqi Freedom, as well as a two-time recipient of the Navy Achievement Medal.
Abstract:
More and more organizations are pivoting from traditional vulnerability management practices to a broader, more dynamic continuous threat and exposure management (CTEM) practice. Introduced in 2022, CTEM was at the top of Gartner’s Hype Cycle for Security Operations in 2024. What’s all the hype about? How can CTEM be used to reduce the likelihood of exploits and proactively defend against advanced threats?
