Join Save the Manatee Club on Saturday, October 12th, 2024 for a meetup to complete the virtual Save the Manatee 5k event at a beautiful location in Central Florida! Please register for the virtual event at https://raceroster.com/events/2024/92045/florida-save-the-mantee-5kand bring your race packet to the meetup. This is NOT a timed event, however participants can post their results online after completing the event.
Where? Blue Jacket Park, 2501 General Rees Ave, Orlando, FL 32814
When? October 12th, 2024. The run/walk will start at 7:30 a.m.
What? We will meet up to complete the virtual run/walk together on a scenic 3.1 mile route around Blue Jacket Park adjacent to Baldwin Park in Orlando. Participants will register and receive their race packet, including a shirt, bib, and medal in the mail prior to the event and will need to bring the packet to the meetup. Save the Manatee Club will have a tent and table set up as well as our big inflatable manatee “Hope”. We will have lots of fun swag, educational items, a raffle, and the chance to adopt a real living manatee. All proceeds from this event will go towards manatee conservation efforts.
