The Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department is excited to invite you to commemorate a remarkable milestone: the 100th anniversary of the Scott Schreiner Golf Course! In 1924, this beloved course formally opened its doors as the Kerrville Country Club for the first time. Then, in 1934, the City of Kerrville acquired the course, making it the first and only municipal golf course in Kerr County. On Friday, Oct. 18, participate in the Centennial Golf Tournament designed to foster camaraderie and pride in our cherished course. The tournament is limited to the first 24 teams (4 players per team), so don’t wait to be part of this experience. The cost to enter the tournament is $200 per team. The team fee will cover green fees, range balls, cart fees, a t-shirt, and prizes. You can register your team by calling or visiting the Scott Schreiner Golf Course Pro Shop, open seven days a week.
For additional information, contact the Scott Schreiner Golf Course at (830) 257-4982, or follow us on Facebook at City of Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department or Instagram at cityofkerrville.
