We will hold an event on Saturday 22nd Jan. (2 weeks) at 1.30pm to mark 100 years since the take-over of Dublin's Rotunda by over 150 unemployed workers, led by Liam O'Flaherty, 2 days after establishment of the Provisional Government of the Free State. We will gather at Great North George's Street where the group's Manifesto was printed before proceeding to the Ambassador Theatre at the top of O'Connell Street where the main event will take place from 2.00pm. Historian Donal Fallon will deliver a talk on the day and the Manifesto of the Dublin Council of Unemployed will be read aloud. Hope to see you there.
