Unplug, unwind and connect with the beauty of fall colors, horses and the power of sound in this truly unique 2.5 hour event. In this fast paced and often chaotic outside world, we need to find ways to reconnect to nature and our spirit. Ways to quiet the mind and feel a sense of peace and purpose. Horses offer us powerful learning opportunities to be more self aware, in the moment and gain clarity about ourselves. Horses are natural teachers and healers as they balance energy, call out truth and find their way to our hearts and authentic selves.
Meet and mingle with herd in a safe and nurturing way and then settle in, to continue your journey, through listening to beautiful soundscapes from a variety of healing instruments. The powerful vibes from the gongs, crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, drums, chimes and more, move through your body and help us reach a deep restful state of theta wave brain activity. As the vibes move through us, they may bring up old wounds, thoughts, feelings or anything that doesn’t serve us and help us let go, so we can receive healing and a deeper sense of calm. All while being in rustic nature for some real forest therapy at the same time. Raise your vibration and elevate spirit!
*What you need to bring:
This is an outdoor event, so dress appropriately for the weather. Once we lay down and settle in to the sound journey, you are going to want to be as comfortable as possible. A yoga mat is not enough. You will need some cushion to lay on, a blanket or 2 to stay warm and snuggled in, a pillow for your head, a bolster for under your knees, an eye pillow or scarf. Most people assume they will be fine with just a yoga mat, trust me, you need more stuff to get comfortable laying on the ground for an hour. When you are really comfortable you wont be distracted and can drift deeper into the experience. Bring water and whatever else you need.
*Cost: $75/person. If you really want to come and cost is a roadblock, then just make a donation of what you can do.
*Location: This is an outdoor event at my home farm in Gaylord. Exact address will be given after you sign up.
