Dr. Russell MacKechnie-Guire leads sessions focused on rider biomechanics, drawing from over 15 years of scientific research. These evidence-based sessions cater to all levels of riders and horses, offering insights for long-term improvement. Centaur Biomechanics introduces a comprehensive assessment method, to quantify rider asymmetries and their impact on horse-saddle-rider interaction.During the ridden assessment, riders wear Visualise training jackets or motion capture markers. High-speed cameras capture standardised exercises, emphasising the horse-saddle-rider dynamics. Following analysis, riders engage in mounted exercises guided by Dr. MacKechnie-Guire, employing sensors for biofeedback. Post-exercise comparisons allow for visualising progress and refining muscle memory.
Participants receive a Rider Biomechanics mini report, detailing findings and suggesting areas for development, facilitating collaboration with coaches and healthcare professionals.
£85.00 private 45 minute session.
