Take a walk with us through Portsmouth’s two oldest cemeteries - Point of Graves and North Cemetery - and learn about how colonial New England viewed death and their funerals - who spoke or didn't speak, how many gifts were given, how much alcohol was consumed, and more. We'll visit the graves of some fascinating Portsmouth residents and take a look at how our relationship with death has changed over these last few centuries.
