Join Midland County Historical Society for their annual October Cemetery Tour!
Earl Burton had a 30-year career as a postal clerk in Midland, MI. Before he began his career with the postal service, he was in active military service, where he was aboard the SS Tuscania when it was torpedoed and sank in the icy waters off of Scotland in February, 1918. Come hear Mr. Burton's story - and more! - when the Midland County Historical Society presents Stories From the Great War.
Come out to the Midland Municipal Cemetery and hear tales of World War I from the folks who lived them (through costumed actors). We look forward to seeing you! This event is a walking tour and is held rain or shine.
