Join us on Saturday, 5th April from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Gordon Williams Memorial Cemetery, Aberdare (134 Greta St, Aberdare NSW) for a day of discovery, reflection, and community.Whether you're exploring your ancestry, learning about local history, or simply appreciating the peaceful beauty of our green spaces, our Cemeteries Open Day has something for everyone.
EVENT SCHEDULE
• 11am - Welcome
• 11:30 am - Historic points of interest tour including the Memorial Gates and notable monuments
• 12 pm - Sausage Sizzle provided by Cessnock Lions Club
• 1 pm - Cemetery Tour
o Guests will tour the beautiful Gordon Williams Memorial Cemetery and learn about interment options, memorial plaque installations, types and styles of monuments and more.
Displays at the event will include
• Meet and discuss your enquiries with funeral industry experts
• Discuss memorial options with monumental masons
• Watch interactive display from Wollombi Sandstone demonstrating inscripting sandstone
