Julie Sévilla’s captivating cello transcends genres and eras, elevating music’s essence with passion and versatility. Trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, she has carved a unique place on the international scene. A laureate of the Fondation Banque Populaire, she stands out for her virtuosity and artistic commitment. After performing with the Orchestra of the Republican Guard and the Paris Opera, Julie now devotes herself to a solo career, dazzling audiences across Europe and the U.S. with concertos and recitals blending Bach and folk music. She collaborates with renowned artists such as Abdel Rahman El Bacha and Laurent Korcia and explores modern realms with Yvan Cassar and Hugo Marchand. A dedicated professor at the École Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot in Paris, she is also deeply committed to social causes, performing in hospitals and working with Pax Musica and CoCreate Humanity, using music as a tool for healing and solidarity.
